Woman arrives late at airport slaps Air India staffer after ticket is denied

A woman passenger denied boarding into an Air India flight at the New Delhi T-3 Indira Gandhi International Airport reportedly slapped one of its lady employees, over an argument of her being denied of the issuance of the boarding pass: reported ,  India Today

Air India sources told  that the passenger, resident of Haryana's Panchkula town intended to to travel from Delhi to Ahmedabad.  Her Air India flight 019 was scheduled to depart at 0500 hours, for which she arrived at 4:18, following which she was denied boarding.

When the Air India employee was slapped, she is reported to have retaliated by slapping back the passenger.

However,  sources attributed to Air India, its  manager has withdrawn his complaint after both the parties resolved the issue "amicably".
